Original pug housebreaking stories reveal all you could possibly want to know about pugs as well as tips for training your pugs

We just got a new pug puppy in the last few months and are just nuts about him.She is called Sapphire and is 11 weeks young. However breaking her in is causing us a few problems.

Generally a pugs temperament changes from day to day which is proving to be a constant worry all the time. You should see the look on her face when we both have to head out the door to go to work, she has such a long face on her

Our little pug has days that she whines, goes to the door and the whole nine yards.Or if she can't get our attention for some reason she goes on her puppy pad and she gets all the praise

We are doing everything we are suppose to do to help in this process. For some weird reason she wont even approach her puppy pad or the door depending on what mood she is in.There are times when we take her out the back and show her the grass but to no avail

My husband suggested we bring her to a vet in the hope of finding a solution as pug dogs have been known to get tapeworms. We do give her the odd little snack or treat, call it what you will but it really lights up her face and it is so worth seeing her smile

She has even started to use the bathroom in her pet taxi again, I also read an article that these dogs do have problems yet we don't know why but she does her poops in her dog taxi. We usually take her out every hour sometimes less if she has consumed a lot of water.

The longest stretch she goes is at bedtime of the night that is usually 6 -10 hrs,I was leaving the door open so she could get out to use the bathroom of the night on her pug dog pad but that didn't work. The cheeky little monkey even went so far as to piddle on my hubby shirt, to say he was upset would be an understatement

We never raise our voice at our pet just simply take her out and tell her to go on the grass. What can we do to remedy this.Should we just choose between the pad and outside or will that frustrate her even more. What have we done to make her backslide back to square one.Any help would be appreciated. What can we do to set her on the straight and narrow so that she is properly housetrained.
